Denniston plateau is a wild, windy place on the West coast of the South Island. It's filled with creatures that use special disguises, or camouflage to hide from themselves from predators and prey.

By matching their colour to their natural environment, these animals can easily sneak up on prey, or mask themselves to escape their enemies.

To learn all about camouflage and mimicry  join our kids club and you'll receive a magazine five times a year!
